Job Description

We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a professional legal office environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior litigation experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Location: Manchester, NH

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday

Pay: 60 - 70K

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Assist with court filings, including electronic filing systems
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
  • Coordinate calendars, hearings, depositions, and deadlines
  • Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients and internal team members
  • Enter time records and assist with opening new client/matter files
  • Provide backup support to other administrative team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of litigation legal assistant or legal administrative experience required
  • Familiarity with court procedures, deadlines, and legal terminology
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
